Your road to exam day
Tell NPPE Pro which sitting you are writing and it counts back from that date. The weeks are split into four stages, and each day shows one task, with a pace check that tells you whether you are ahead, on track or behind.
With no sitting set, the default road is eight weeks of short daily sessions. If your sitting is closer, each stage gets fewer days rather than being skipped.

If you learn best in live classes with an instructor, Guided is not that. It is self-paced, with no classes: the two sessions with a P.Eng. are not a course of tutoring. A classroom course may suit you better, and you can still use NPPE Pro alongside it for questions and mock exams.

What is in a Guided lesson?
Each lesson covers one of the 52 topics in three steps: a short video, the key idea in a few lines, then an exam-style question on it straight away. Lessons are sized for a phone and a short break, and any question you miss comes back in your practice until you get it right twice in a row.
How long does the NPPE Pro course take?
As long as the weeks to your sitting. NPPE Pro counts back from your exam date, so the course fits the time you have. With no date set, it lays out a default plan of eight weeks, with a daily goal of about 15 minutes that you can change. If your sitting is close, each stage gets fewer days.
Does Guided include live classes or a tutor?
No live classes. Guided is self-paced: lessons, practice questions with every option explained, flashcards, mock exams and a daily plan, plus two 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with a P.Eng. on any NPPE topic you choose. If you want regular live teaching, a classroom course may suit you better, and NPPE Pro can still be your practice and mock exam tool.
What is the difference between Guided, Safety Net and Practice Questions?
Guided ($297 CAD) teaches the material and tests it: lessons on all 52 topics on a road that starts with them, the 580-question bank, four mock exams, the report, flashcards, the mind map and two sessions with a P.Eng. Safety Net ($197 CAD) has the same study tools without the sessions, on a road that starts from questions. Both come with the money-back promise. Practice Questions ($97 CAD) is the bank, flashcards, one mock exam and the report, with no lessons.
Do I need a course to pass the NPPE?
No. A prep course is optional: what your regulator requires is a pass on the exam itself, and you can prepare from the suggested books with your own practice. EGBC applicants also complete EGBC's own online seminar, which is separate from any prep course. A course saves you the work of building a plan and a question bank.
What are the sessions with a P.Eng. in Guided?
Guided includes two 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with a P.Eng., on any NPPE topic you choose, such as a law or ethics topic you keep missing. Book them from your dashboard or your profile any time while your plan is active, together or on different days. They are two sessions, not a class or ongoing tutoring, and the other plans do not include them.
How does the Safety Net money-back promise work?
The Safety Net comes with NPPE Safety Net and NPPE Guided, bought from 29 September 2026. Before your sitting, finish every lesson, answer every practice question, review every flashcard and complete all 4 mock exams. Your scores don't matter. Sit the NPPE while your plan is active, or within 30 days of it ending. If your official result is a fail, email it to support@nppepro.ca within 30 days. You get your money back (everything you paid for the plan) and a new 3-month Safety Net period to prepare again, which you can start any time within 12 months. One claim per person. Can I pay for NPPE Pro in instalments?
