Questions people ask

More answers in the NPPE FAQ.

How much does NPPE Pro cost?

NPPE Pro has three paid plans: Exam Only, Practice and Exam, and Full Prep. Each is one payment for a fixed period of access, and current prices in Canadian dollars are on the pricing page. Every plan starts with the free trial.

Which NPPE Pro plan should I choose?

Choose by where you are starting from. Full Prep is for starting from scratch: lessons on every topic, practice questions, flashcards, the mind map and all 4 mock exams. Practice and Exam is for people who have read the material and need questions and mocks. Exam Only is the 4 timed mock exams with their reports, for the final weeks.

Can I pay for NPPE Pro in instalments?

Yes. Choose Pay in 4 with Klarna under any plan on the pricing page. Klarna splits the price, plus tax, into 4 payments: the first when you buy, then one every 2 weeks. Your plan opens right away, with the same access as paying by card. See Canadian payment terms. A higher initial payment may be required for some consumers.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. You can start NPPE Pro free without a credit card. The 14-day trial starts from your first finished lesson, so signing up early costs you nothing, and it opens a set of free topics, practice questions and a short mock exam preview.

Do NPPE Pro plans renew?

No. Every plan is one payment for a fixed period of access, so nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. If you subscribed to a monthly plan before October 2026, you can cancel it at any time from the billing page in your profile, and it runs to the end of the month you have paid for.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move up from Exam Only or Practice and Exam to a larger plan from inside the app, and your progress carries over.

What happens when my access period ends?

Your account and progress stay. The paid features close until you choose a plan again, so if your sitting moves you can pick up where you left off rather than starting over.

How much does the NPPE cost?

The NPPE fee is set by each regulator and is about $175 to $300 CAD plus tax, set by each regulator. For example, APEGA charges $250 plus GST and EGBC $300 plus GST. You pay the fee again for each attempt, and it goes to your regulator, not to any prep provider.

Your first session takes fifteen minutes.

Tell NPPE Pro your sitting and it builds the plan. The 14-day trial starts from your first finished lesson, and no card is needed.
