Which plan fits you

Pick by two things: where you are starting from, and how far away your sitting is. Each plan is one payment for a fixed time, so choose one that lasts until your exam. The next sitting is Nov 2 to 4, 2026.

  • Starting from scratch: Guided, $297 CAD for 4 months. Lessons first, all 4 mock exams, and two 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with a P.Eng. on any NPPE topic you choose. It is not a class or ongoing tutoring.
  • Studied some already: Safety Net, $197 CAD for 3 months. The same lessons and mock exams, on a road that starts from questions.
  • Finished studying: Practice Questions, $97 CAD for 1 month. Every question and flashcard, with mock exam 1 and its report.
  • The Safety Net comes with Safety Net and Guided, and asks you to finish every lesson, question, flashcard and mock exam before your sitting. Leave yourself the weeks to do it.

Questions people ask

More answers in the NPPE FAQ.

How much does NPPE Pro cost?

NPPE Pro has three paid plans, each one payment for a fixed time with nothing to renew: Practice Questions at $97 CAD for 1 month, Safety Net at $197 CAD for 3 months, and Guided at $297 CAD for 4 months. Prices are before tax, and the pricing page shows what each includes. You can start with the trial before you choose.

Which NPPE Pro plan should I choose?

Choose by where you are starting from. Guided is for starting from scratch: lessons on every topic, practice questions, flashcards, the mind map, all 4 mock exams and two 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with a P.Eng. on any topic you choose. Safety Net has the same study tools without the sessions, for people who have read the material, and its study plan starts from questions. Both come with the Safety Net money-back promise. Practice Questions is the practice questions and flashcards on every topic without the lessons, plus one timed mock exam with its report. Access is fixed, so pick a plan that lasts until your sitting.

What are the sessions with a P.Eng. in Guided?

Guided includes two 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with a P.Eng., on any NPPE topic you choose, such as a law or ethics topic you keep missing. Book them from your dashboard or your profile any time while your plan is active, together or on different days. They are two sessions, not a class or ongoing tutoring, and the other plans do not include them.

How does the Safety Net money-back promise work?

The Safety Net comes with NPPE Safety Net and NPPE Guided, bought from 29 September 2026. Before your sitting, finish every lesson, answer every practice question, review every flashcard and complete all 4 mock exams. Your scores don't matter. Sit the NPPE while your plan is active, or within 30 days of it ending. If your official result is a fail, email it to support@nppepro.ca within 30 days. You get your money back (everything you paid for the plan) and a new 3-month Safety Net period to prepare again, which you can start any time within 12 months. One claim per person. It is a promise about your money, not about your result: no prep plan can promise a pass. Read the Safety Net terms.

Can I pay for NPPE Pro in instalments?

Yes. Choose Pay in 4 with Klarna under any plan on the pricing page. Klarna splits the price, plus tax, into 4 payments: the first when you buy, then one every 2 weeks. Your plan opens right away, with the same access as paying by card. See Canadian payment terms. A higher initial payment may be required for some consumers.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. You can start NPPE Pro free without a credit card. The 14-day trial starts from your first finished lesson, so signing up early costs you nothing, and it opens a set of free topics, practice questions and a short mock exam preview.

Do NPPE Pro plans renew?

No. Every plan is one payment for a fixed period of access, so nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. If you subscribed to a monthly plan before October 2026, you can cancel it at any time from the billing page in your profile, and it runs to the end of the month you have paid for.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move up from Practice Questions or Safety Net to a larger plan from inside the app, and your progress carries over.

What happens when my access period ends?

Your account and progress stay. The paid features close until you choose a plan again, so if your sitting moves you can pick up where you left off rather than starting over.

How much does the NPPE cost?

The NPPE fee is set by each regulator and is about $175 to $300 CAD plus tax, set by each regulator. For example, APEGA charges $250 plus GST and EGBC $300 plus GST. You pay the fee again for each attempt, and it goes to your regulator, not to any prep provider.

Start with one short lesson today.

Tell NPPE Pro your sitting and it builds the plan. The 14-day trial starts from your first finished lesson, and no card is needed.
